Journey's
frontman Arnel Pineda said he is hoping to be part of Aerosmith's concert in
the Philippines this month.
Pineda
said it would be an honor to meet and share the same stage with rock legend
Steven Tyler.
“I
am actually watching the show. So mami-meet ko na siya personally. Kasi we have
the same agency. So ang nagma-manage na agency sa Aerosmith ay mina-manage din
ang Journey,” Pineda told ABS-CBNnews.com on Friday during a press conference
for the 10th anniversary of Puregold’s "Ang Tindahan Ni Aling
Puring."
Asked
if there is a chance that he will perform with Aerosmith, Pineda said: "I
am hoping. I can not answer on their behalf. Pero ako personally I am hoping
that would happen,” Aerosmith will hold its concert on May 8 at the SM Mall of
Asia Arena.
Pineda
said he will watch Aerosmith’s show before he leaves the country for Journey’s
series of shows in the United Kingdom and Germany.
